Why participate?
-Maybe you're in shape and can compete with the other runners for the 5K.
-Don't run? Walking a 5K's is really not bad. You can do it. We know you can!
-Parker is attempting to run the 1K with the other 3-10 year olds. Have your kids come out and try for this amazing cause!

Why make a donation?
-Salem has to raise $200,000 by June 30 to keep our 54 year old mission alive of empowering people with disabilities such as autism and Down syndrome. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
-No donation is too small. A $20 can go a long way for a Salem resident. In fact, the gap between what Salem receives from the state for care for people with disabilities and Salem's actual cost to provide loving care and training?? $26 per day per resident. You can change a life.
-Salem has 19 community homes in your neighborhood- Chino, Ontario, Upland and Lakewood. Let's take care of those in need around us!

Salem Christian Homes is a 54 year old non-profit organization that empower people with disabilities. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of those we serve, help each individual reach his or her optimal functioning level! Salem serves 112 individuals in 19 community homes in Chino, Ontario, Upland and Lakewood, providing loving care and training. Salem believes each person has ABILITIES and can contribute to the community!
